With the season approaching, I have some stuff to do. There's ten top quarterbacks to rank, eight division winners to pick, and a Pro Bowl team to build. I'm tempted to ask why I do all this and just read the other sportswriters' work. But someone has to be unconventional.
Divisions:
AFC South: Indianapolis Colts
AFC West: Denver Broncos
AFC North: Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC East: Buffalo Bills
Wild Card 1: Oakland Raiders
Wild Card 2: Jacksonville Jaguars
NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC West: St. Louis Rams
NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles
NFC South: Atlanta Falcons
Wild Card 1: Dallas Cowboys
Wild Card 2: Minnesota Vikings
My Thoughts:
Man, Detroit was hard not to include. So was Seattle. But I don't think the Vikings particularly care if you're good as long as you're not as good as them. Just too many good teams this year! I wish they had expanded the playoffs!
Super Bowl:
Broncos beat Rams in an epic game.
SB MVP: Peyton Manning
My Thoughts:
The quarterback of the Broncos will be the highlight of the game. Whether it's Peyton Manning or Brock Osweiler or Trevor Siemian. They have three QBs ready to step up to the plate. But I'm sticking with Manning for now. The Rams' defense will put up a hard fight, too. It's the two deepest teams in the league, fighting for it all on the 50th anniversary of the first Super Bowl ever.
Who's ready for February?!
